Ruth Gomme (Soprano) was a Cambridge choral scholar and later studied at the Royal Academy of Music. She has sung with The Sixteen, the Monteverdi Choir, the English Concert and the BBC Singers. She is the soprano with the vocal quartet Operantics and one half of The Regency Duo. Ruth specialises in baroque and classical repertoire, and is delighted to return to sing with the St Cecilia Chorus.

Welsh tenor Gareth Treseder graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2010. Recent solo engagements include performing for HRH Prince Charles in Handel’s Dixit Dominus and Bach’s Mass in B minor both alongside the Monteverdi Choir. Gareth also composes sacred choral works and two of his carol settings, A Song Was Heard at Christmas and Blessed be that Maid Marie, have been recorded by the BBC Singers.

Charles Pott (Bass) began his training as a chorister at New College, Oxford, continuing his vocal studies at St John's College, Cambridge and the Royal Academy of Music. Since his solo debut in 1984 he has appeared as a soloist with the Academy of Ancient Music, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and has sung in over 250 recordings. In 1992 Charles made his solo debut at the Proms and returns to St Cecilia Chorus to sing the role of Jesus.

British-Canadian Patricia Hammond (Contralto) studied singing in Canada and Switzerland before moving to the UK in 2001. She has performed widely as a soloist and has appeared on BBC Radio 3, BBC4 and Radio 4′s Midweek as well as previous concerts with St Cecilia Chorus. Le Charme, her CD of French songs was Editor’s Choice in the American Record Guide. In addition to classical music, Patricia has collaborated with jazz musicians Matt Redman and Nick Ball, who wrote the arrangements for her new CD Our Lovely Day.
